MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
BENEFITS OF ASSOCIATING:
The membership has representatives from all types of municipalities, boards of education, library boards, public utility commissions, non-profit housing and conservation authorities.
Currently our annual membership costs is $ 100.00.
Executive
A Board of Directors are elected annually, consisting of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Director at Large and Public Relations Officer who administers the Society.
Benefits of membership include:
Ability to run for office on the board of executive.
Members are eligible to run for office and become an integral part of managing the Society and organizing all aspects associated with it.
Knowledge is power
Members are provided exemplary continuing education on all matters dealing with risk and insurance management. Considerable emphasis must be given to networking with those individuals in the same business and SPIAO’s friendly members and atmosphere fosters great business relations.
Workshops
SPIAO members are presented with three one day workshops and one two day conference which provides integral information directly affecting local governments, school boards or conservation authorities.
