Description:               Don’t let your organization fall victim to the impending pedestrian zombie apocalypse! Here we address the increased challenges in securing a construction work site, or any public space, when people are walking around with their heads down on their phone. As people become more and more dependent on their devices, organization may find themselves not appropriate protected for the severity of this out-of-mind risk. Description:            Ian and Sean will discuss a number of significant court decisions which have been released over the past year, with a particular emphasis on how these cases impact municipalities and school boards. Topics discussed will include rising costs awards following a trial, waivers/releases of liability as well as the growing number of sexual abuses cases, and how municipalities and school boards can address and respond to sexual abuse claims.

Description:             Join us for an update on the Joint and Several Liability Data project and how the sector is working together to gather data that will help tell the story of the true cost of public risk.  This session will also explore the importance of data hygiene, how risk managers can streamline data collection and reporting across the organization, and the impact on insurance premiums and the day-to-day role of risk management within a public sector organization.

The registration fee includes meals and admission to all of the business events planned for the full Conference, including taxes. It does NOT include your accommodations.
Guests are entitled to utilize all facilities at the resort. Guest fees include attendance at all meal and social functions during the conference.
