Date: Friday April 9, 2021
Length: 1 Hour
Speakers: Jessica Jaremchuck, Director, Risk Management Services, Frank Cowan Company
Description: Municipalities across Ontario have open up facilities and programs while facing complex and unique challenges. This session will look at the dynamics created by COVID-19, broad themes of reopening, and risk and liability considerations in the ‘new normal’. It will explore some of the key issues that municipalities are dealing with and discuss risk mitigation strategies.
COVID-19 has challenged our thinking and changed the way Municipalities operate. How will communities like yours take steps to move forward in a way that is safe and sustainable?
What are reasonable expectations? For staff and the public – what role does your Municipality have to play in keeping people safe?
Although we are in a pandemic, we must remain forward-thinking. Municipalities need to build resiliency so when the worst happens, they are prepared and can pivot accordingly.
Special Notes – Please log on to the meeting 10 minutes prior to the start, as the presentation will begin promptly at 10:00am
