Description:  Ian Gold and Sean Murtha will review a number of significant court decisions which have been released over the past year, with a particular emphasis on how these cases impact municipalities and school boards. Presented by: Tracy Eso – Intact Public Entities

Description: We are inundated with news about our changing climate every day. Evidence of warmer, wetter, less reliable weather patterns are all around us which promise to impact our communities in ways we have yet to envision and account for.   Tracy will introduce some key climate concerns to municipalities by looking to past experiences, and discuss how we can better create and account for resilience in our communities.  With a special focus on nature-based solutions (NbS), this presentation will explain the unaccounted for benefits of relying on nature, and some common sense, to adapt to the environment in the face of an ever-changing climate.

Registration Fee

The registration fee includes meals and admission to all of the business events planned for the full Conference, including taxes. It does NOT include your accommodations.
Guests are entitled to utilize all facilities at the resort. Guest fees include attendance at all meal and social functions during the conference.

All fees associated with “No Shows” incurred by SPIAO will be charged to the registrants who fail to attend the conference
