Description:            Ian and Sean will discuss a number of significant court decisions which have been released over the past year, with a particular emphasis on how these cases impact municipalities and school boards. Topics discussed will include rising costs awards following a trial, waivers/releases of liability as well as the growing number of sexual abuses cases, and how municipalities and school boards can address and respond to sexual abuse claims.

Description:             Join us for an update on the Joint and Several Liability Data project and how the sector is working together to gather data that will help tell the story of the true cost of public risk.  This session will also explore the importance of data hygiene, how risk managers can streamline data collection and reporting across the organization, and the impact on insurance premiums and the day-to-day role of risk management within a public sector organization.
